If you want to make something special for your friends, you should consider pickles! You can pickle a wide variety of food! From sea fennel to jalapenos… Here you can find some recipes:
- Quick pickled jalapenos
- Quick pickled carrots
- Pickled sea fennel or rock samphire
- Pickled green walnut (this is also actually feasible, only when is the time of green walnuts… – the recipe is still to be posted!)
- Quick pickled green tomatoes (if you are lucky like us in Germany, you might still have green tomatoes on your plants! We still have even after it snowed twice!)
If you will make these pickles for your friends, it is a good idea to decorate them also in a christmas mood or whatever mood you are into (easter meaybe also???)
