Fish soup with rests

When you buy fish or seafood like shrimps, do not through away the exteriors or heads and tails! You can make a soup with the rest of the fish and shrimps instead of buying it in a jar or use concentrate.

Like this you get one more dish out of the fish you bought!

Ingredients

  • Rests of fish/shrimps
  • 1 onion
  • 2 carrot
  • 2 potatoes
  • green part of leek
  • cellery

Steps

  • Add everything in a pot
  • Add water till everything is covered
  • After the water starts boiling, let it simmer 20 to 30 minutes and then stop the fire it and let it at least half an hour to infuse
  • Serve with a bit of spring onions or you can also add a bit of rice or pasta
