Octopus with short pasta

For this recipe you need to have the octopus already cooked. Here is how we do it – only 3 ingredients: Octopus delicacy

Both recipes are from Stella!


  • cooked octopus
  • 1 onion
  • olive oil
  • half a can of tomato sauce
  • pasta of your choice – below you can see in the fotos the ones that are normally used in Greece. Since I didn´t find them, I used the ones above


  • Ad olive oil in a pan and add the onion in cubes
  • When the onion is cooked, add the tomato sauce and cook for a few minutes
  • Add the pasta and water till you cover the pasta
  • Add the octopus cut in small pieces
  • Add in the pasta also the juice of the octopus (if you used the Octopus delicacy to cook the octopus, add a bit of water in the pot and try to get all the sauce of the octopus from the pot and add it in the pasta while being cooked)
  • Cook the pasta the time that is written on your package
