Simple cocoa cake – without eggs/butter

I added a bit of chocolate syrup on top!

Ingredients

  • 80gr flour
  • 10gr corn starch
  • 30gr cocoa powder with added brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 40gr sugar
  • 4gr vanilla sugar
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 very ripe banana (Smash it with a fork very well before using it – mine was 100gr after pealing it)
  • 30gr milk
  • 30gr vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar ( I used Vinagre de Jerez)
  • 20 gr chopped chocolate (you can use a bit more or skip it)

Steps

  • Preheat the oven at 180 degrees Celsius
  • Mix the dry ingredients
  • Mix the wet ingredients and add them in the dry ingredients
  • Place the dough in a baking pan that you buttered it first (I used a silicon silicon chiffon bake form of 14cm)
  • Bake in 180 degrees Celsius for 30 minutes
  • Let it in the oven for 5 minutes more after turning of the oven
