This is a very typical first dish in Piemonte, Italy. You will find it in almost every restaurant in Turin. It is a very interesting combination of meat and fish that I find delicious.
If you can make your own mayo the dish really takes off!
Ingredients
- 200gr beef meat (the bak part of the back leg )
- Mayonnaise
- 5 anchovies
- 1 can of tuna
- Capers for decoration
Steps
- Boil the meat for 90 min with 1,5lt water, 0,5lt of white wine, 1 onion, 1 leek and 1 celery leaf
- Let it cool down and put it in the fridge
- For the sauce you mix the mayo, the anchovies and the tuna
- Serve the sauce on the thin sliced meat
