Welcome to our traditional white-and-blue Cycladic spaces! Named in honor of Apollo—the ancient Greek God of Light, Sun, Music, and Truth—this peaceful haven feels illuminated by the very same golden rays that inspired travelers thousands of years ago.
We have intentionally chosen not to include televisions or internet access in our properties. In a world of constant notifications and screen fatigue, our studios are designated digital detox sanctuaries. We invite you to trade screen time for ocean views, book-reading on your private terraces, and starlit walks down to the water.
🏡 Choose what best fits you
Our properties are perfectly positioned to experience both the historic depth and coastal beauty of the village. Each space offers a unique way to live the ultimate Mediterranean outdoor lifestyle:
- The Beachfront Studio: Situated just one street back from the water, you are less than a 30-second walk from getting your toes in the sand, featuring an effortless sea-view balcony.
- The Two-Terrace apartment with sunrise view: Enjoy your morning coffee watching the sun break over the Aegean Sea from the Sunrise Terrace. When the afternoon heat kicks in, move to the large shaded dining table under the umbrella, and enjoy the ultimate luxury of rinsing off Aegean salt from your skin under the open sky in the exterior outdoor shower.
- The Sunset & Dining apartment with the two balconies: Relax on your private balcony to watch the warm golden sunset colors. This apartment features a charming kitchen pass-through window right over the sink, allowing you to easily pass fresh Naxian meals and cold drinks straight out to your balcony dining table.

- Hike to Agios Fokas Beach: If you want an untouched, wild beach away from everyone, take a scenic, 15-minute coastal hike from the street (that is not directly in the village – We have a post and a video to help you arrive there) to the secluded bay of Agios Fokas. Bring water and your book—it is pure serenity. Here the post to help you arrive there.
- Explore the Tower of Agia: Located just a short drive (approximately 6km) or an adventurous hike outside the village, these stunning ruins offer panoramic views of Naxos’ wild northern coastline.

🍽️ Local Restaurants & Tavernas to Try
- Kalimera: A must-visit spot famous for its awesome grilled meat. If you want to taste authentic, high-quality Naxian meats perfectly seasoned and flame-grilled, this is the place. It offers fantastic traditional dishes right by the sea view and it is the only one that is a bit higher than the rest. The tyrokafteri is also a highlight there!

This welcoming restaurant serves rich, authentic Naxian flavors and various fish that are displayed in a vitrine, where you can choose, which one you would like to try. It is the perfect spot for a relaxed dinner after a long day in the sun. Choose from the vitrine the fish you would like to eat and receive it a bit later cooked and ready to be enjoyed.
🍽️ Local Naxian Food & Drink to Try
Naxos is famous across Greece for its incredible agriculture, cheeses, and meats. When you sit down at our seaside tavernas, look for these specific traditional specialties on the menu:
🧀 Signature Naxian Cheeses
- Graviera Naxou: A sweet, buttery, hard yellow cheese made from cow and goat milk. It is the pride of the island.
- Xinomyzithra or Xinotyro: A creamy, slightly sour white cheese that is perfect when spread over fresh crusty bread.
Also from milk and it must be noted! Naxian butter! You can buy it bulk where you buy the cheese in the super markets.
🍲 Traditional Village Dishes
- Naxian Potatoes: Do not skip ordering french fries here! Naxos grows the most famous, naturally sweet potatoes in Greece because of our rich soil.
- Rosto Naxou: A mouthwatering, slow-cooked pork pot roast simmered in a rich garlic and fresh tomato sauce, traditionally served over pasta. This you will find it though mostly in the villages on the mountain.
- Fresh Seafood & Grilled Calamari: Because Apollonas is an authentic fishing village, look for the daily catch. Try grilled swordfish or crispy fried calamari right by the water at local spots like Nikos Taverna or Kalimera.
- Kolokithokeftedes: Delightful, crispy fried zucchini and herb balls mixed with local feta cheese.
☕ Local Drinks
- Freddo Espresso / Freddo Cappuccino: The ultimate, ice-cold Greek iced coffee to enjoy on your terrace or balcony.
- traditional greek coffee: This is a must, if you are in Greece. Not everyone likes it, but being here, you should try it. We always let in our places greek coffee, so you can prepare it also at home.
- Kitron Liqueur: The historic, aromatic spirit of Naxos distilled from the leaves of the citron tree. Enjoy it cold as a digestive after dinner! [
