The last years becomes more and more rare that rains during the warm months. In 2024 it didn´t rain for 7 months at Apollon and that is a worrying point for the environment. The plantations at Naxos did quite bad like the grapes.
Please use water in general but also particularly in the greek islands wisely. Water is life. Lots of greek islands do not have fresh water.
It is easy to buy a plastic bottle of water. And cheap for lots of people. Please consider though, that this plastic was transported there and remains on the island, where there are not efficient infrastructures to take care of it.
