You started a sourdough starter but you do not know if it is active/strong enough to start baking?

Or maybe you just got some sourdough starter and you still would like to test it!

Well it is very easy to do! You only need tap water, a glass and a spoon!!! Here the Video:

Ingredients

  • Sourdough starter
  • Glass with water in room temperature
  • Spoon

Steps

  • Take a spoon of sourdough
  • Place the sourdough in the glass of water
  • If the sourdough floats, then it is ready to bake! It contains enough “air” inside, so that it will make your baking good rise enough!
