Sourdough burger bread

Ingredients

  • 80gr sourdough
  • 160gr water
  • 260gr flour 550
  • 25gr honey
  • 8gr salt

Steps

  • Mix well the ingredients
  • In the next hour fold the dough at least 6 times
  • Let the dough rest overnight on the counter

NEXT DAY

  • Fold the dough a couple of times and let it rest half an hour
  • Flour your surface and divide the dough in 4 pieces
  • For each piece: make a ball, push it and make it a bit flat and then take the outside of the dough and place it in the middle of this circle. Then turn it upside down and make a couple of rounds and shape it properly
  • Place them all in the baking pan that you are going to bake them
  • Let them at least double before you proceed
  • You can water the surface (or do this with egg wash) and add sesame seeds, freshly grounded pepper or whatever else you wish
  • Bake them in preheated oven in 180 degrees for 15 minutes and then grill for 10 minutes more approximately until they get golden (the time depends on your oven)
