Eggs in pig form – Beautiful finger food


  • Eggs – as many as you need
  • Red beet juice
  • salt
  • pepper
  • cream cheese – 1 teaspoon for each egg
  • mustard – 1/2 teaspoon for each egg
  • olives for the decoration – nose
  • ham for the decoration – ears
  • capers – for the decoration – optional, cause you can use also olives for the eyes
  • pasta for the tails


  • Prepare your hard boiled eggs
  • Remove the shells
  • Let them in red beet juice for a couple of hours to get the pink color
  • Cut each egg in half
  • Remove the yolks and place them in a bowl
  • Add cream cheese, mustard, salt and pepper to the yolks
  • Refill each hole of the egg with your filling and turn it directly in the plate that you want to serve. You can also place some green leaves there or cut green leaves like in the fotos
  • Decorate like in the fotos with a slice of olive for nose, smaller pieces of olives (or capers) for eyes and cut triangles from ham for the ears
