How to freeze vine or grape leaves

If you got at the same moment lots of vine leaves, you can easily freeze them, so that you can prepare them at some other point

  • You need to wash them well and check for spots that have guests.
  • Remove damages parts
  • Boil water and add salt
  • Blanch them for 30 sec to 1 minute depending on their size. As soon as they change color and become darker are ready
  • Let them cool down and drain from excess water
  • Wrap them in membrane (or in ziplock bags) and add a label. I have white stickers, that I can just write what there is inside, the date and the quantity
