
In the summer the produce of different fruit trees in our fields is big. We are lucky to have those big fruit trees and very often several people from the village will share their produce with us as well! So it is almost obligatory to make jams!
What we do, is sterilise the glasses in the oven at 130 degrees Celsius for 20 minutes and their lids in boiling water for 10 minutes.
The glasses we place them on a baking paper inside a baking pan.
Once we fill the glass with jam, we close it with the lid and place it upside down.
