lemon semolina cake

Ingredients (this is a very small cake – 12cm, so you might want to double it)

CAKE

  • 50gr fine semolina flour 
  • 55gr flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • 30ml ml milk
  • 10ml egg liquor
  • 1 Zest from 1 lemon
  • 4gr vanilla sugar
  • 60g butter in room temperature
  • 40g sugar
  • 1 egg (we used vegan egg)

Steps

  • Add the sugar and the butter in a bowl and mix well.
  • Add the milk, the zest, the egg and the egg liquor and mix
  • Add the rest of the ingredients and mix
  • Butter the oven form and add semolina, so that you can remove your cake after baking easier
  • Preheat the oven at 165 ° Celsius and bake till a bit golden. It needed around 30 minutes in our oven
