The drive from Apollon to Danakos is approximately 1 hour. But you can have a wonderful coffee in one of the two places that Danakos has.
Afterwards the drive to Moutsouna is half an hour. You can see the remains of the railways, that the emery was being transported to the boats. It´s a beautiful but small beach. So it can get crowded. But you have a lot of different small beaches in that part. Just take your car and start driving along the coast. When you see a place you like, you just park the car and go down to the beach in seconds.
You could have a pic nic at the beach! We provide everything you might need to have a nice pic nic and then afterwards you could have a nice coffee at Apeiranthos. It is a very traditional village with spectacular views of the mountains. In case you didn´t have a pic nic, you could also have lunch there.
