
You will have to adjust the temperature to the kind of beans you have. But in general if you use hot water, this will make a bitter or with a burnt flavor cup. If you use cool water, this will make a weak and tasteless cup.
For light-roasted coffee go for higher temperatures, that will give you a less sour and more acidic cup.
For medium-roasted coffee for average temperatures, in order to keep a balanced cup.
For dark-roasted coffee go to the lower range of temperatures to avoid bitterness and extract sweetness in your cup.
A rule of thump if you do not have a temperature is to let the water boil and then wait 30 seconds before you start your brewing.
