The church of Apollon is next to the beach and where the main square of the village is. It was built surrounding a small, old church that there was at Apollon and later this small church was destroyed and we have nowadays only the church of Saint John the Baptist.
It is a typical Greek church, white and blue with a cross on its highest point. This church is celebrated the 29th of August, so if you are at Naxos at that day, come at Apollon to celebrate with the locals.
