You have amazing views from there to the blue of Aegean and on your way to the monastery you will have shadow from the thick plants there.
From the monastery, you can go down to Itonas bay but it is a difficult hike and even more difficult to come up to the road again. You can see Itonas bay from our trip with the boat to the north:
