The cedar forest is a must see at Naxos. You will see a forest, where you walk on the sand. It is quite special and worths a visit.
Plan a day at that area and take with you a pic nic basket and some food to have while being there. The “fridge bags”, that we provide you, can be very helpful to have with you fresh water and drinks.
You have several beaches that you can visit in that area with Alyko being the one with an abandoned hotel with lots of graffitis.
On your way to that area of the island or when you will be leaving and heading towards Apollon again, you can check out the area that we have marked above in the red circle. Those rocks are very special and unique.
