red beet cake

ingredients

  • 110gr beetroots, peeled and grated*
  • 1 egg
  • 30ml vegetable oil
  • 40gr Greek yogurt
  • 30gr sugar
  • 8gr vanilla sugar
  • 30gr walnuts in small pieces
  • 30gr raisins
  • 100gr flour
  • 1 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 pinch of salt

Steps

  • Preheat your oven in 180 degrees Celsius
  • Add the egg in a bowl and beat it
  • Add the beets, the oil, the yogurt and the sugar and mix
  • Add the raisins, the walnuts, the baking powder, the salt and the flour and mix
  • Butter and flour a baking pan and add your dough
  • Bake till a toothpick comes out clear. We needed in our oven approximately 40 min.
