
If you are in a hurry and you do not want to make the classic pasta or rice, the orzo or kritharaki in greek is a nice alternative.
Ingredients
- kritharaki (1-1,5 espresso cups per person)
- butter or extra vergin olive oil
- bukovo and/or freshly grinded pepper (Check in the end of the post for bukovo)
Steps
- Prepare the kritharaki like you would you would prepare rice. So cook it in the double amount of water (for 2 espresso cups kritharaki, you need 4 cups of water)
- You bring the water to a boil and add the kritharaki
- When the water is gone, it is ready
- Add olive oil or butter and serve
- Add bukovo and/or pepper and enjoy
