ideas – black eyed beans with sausage and potatoes

This is a lovely dish for a cold day. Add in this hearty soup the vegetables you have. Like carrots. Celery matches also very well and in the end of the cooking of the beans add also sausage. It doesn´t have to be a specific one. The one we had is a “blood-sausage” (Blutwurst).

We boiled apart the potatoes for the sake of presenting the dish, but actually you could be using potatoes, that you already have (using left overs) or adding them directly in the soup.
