
If you can have access to good quality fish, do not hesitate to make sushi at home. Apart from the fact that can be fun, it is really nice to see that you are getting better doing the rolls with the time!
During summer time, this is a nice dish, since you do not need to cook anything except the sushi rice.
You also need to practice your way of cutting fish and a good knife makes things easier and is quite rewarding!
You can just take 2 different fish and prepare them in different ways.
For the foto above we got salmon, swordfish and smoked fish eggs (but this is really optional and maybe weird but we do like them a lot).
So from the salmon we make nigiri, shashimi and the small white bowl also contains very thin pieces of salmon.
With the swordfish we just did nigiri and shashimi.
Do not forget the washabi and the pickled ginger.
