This super tasty spice can transform whichever dish! It upgrades not only the taste of a dish but also the way it looks, cause it adds this red tone to your food.
You can find the sweet and the chili version of it. Most of the times though it is the spicy one, that is being used.
It contains red chili peppers not only dried and but also crushed.This is what gives you the beautiful flakes.

Bukovo is quite spicy but the hot feeling is not persistent and goes away quite fast.
It is widely used in the Balkans and it is quite a basic ingredient in the north greek cuisine.
