The Yorkshire pudding is being celebrated on the first Sunday of February! Soooo, you have some days to prepare yourselves for this wonderful crispy and fluffy delight!
Ingredients
- 100g sourdough
- 2 eggs
- 80ml milk
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- Pinch of salt
- 60gr flour
- 8 tablespoons vegetable oil
Steps
- Put the sourdough in a bowl and add the eggs
- Mix the dough well
- Warm the milk a bit (if you want to “take advantage” of your sourdough, you should not make the milk hot, cause you will kill the sourdough)
- Add the milk in the sourdough dough and mix
- add the flour together with the sugar and the salt
- It is better if you let the batter rest a bit or you let it in the fridge overnight
- When you are ready to bake them, remove them from the fridge (in case you let them there overnight) half an our before baking them
- Add in a muffin form baking pan in each muffin slot a tablespoon vegetable oil and place the baking pan in the oven
- Preheat the oven (with the baking pan inside – we need the oil to be warm) in 225 degrees Celsius
- When the oven is preheated, take out the muffin form and divide the batter in the 6 slots
- Lower the temperature in 190 degrees Celsious and bake them till golden on top – around 25 minutes
