Scrambled eggs with left over meat – quick and super tasty meal

Ingredients

  • 1 onion
  • leftover meat (it can be chicken or steak or even smoked ham… whatever you have)
  • 6 eggs
  • olive oil
  • salt
  • pepper

Steps

  • Cut the onion in stripes
  • Add olive oil in a pan and cook the onion in slow fire till it is golden
  • when the oil is not enough you can add a spoon of water every time (I added water 3 times)
  • Cut the left over meat in small pieces and add them in the pan as soon as the onion is ready
  • Beat the eggs and add salt and pepper
  • Cut the onion in stripes
  • Add olive oil in a pan and cook the onion in slow fire till it is golden
  • when the oil is not enough you can add a spoon of water every time (I added water 3 times)
  • Cut the left over meat in small pieces and add them in the pan as soon as the onion is ready
  • Beat the eggs and add salt and pepper
  • Add the eggs in the pan and keep on mixing the eggs till are cooked enough for you
  • Serve ideally with a slice of homemade sourdough bread
