
Ingredients
- 100ml mulled wine (so it already had all the spices and the winter smells!)
- 45gr sugar
- juice of half an orange
- 1 egg yolk
- 20gr corn flour
- 60ml creme fraiche
- optional – whipped cream or vanilla cream in order to have some contrast
Steps
- Add all the ingredients in a pot and mix them very well
- Then turn on the fire in middle power and keep mixing the whole time
- You should start feeling after a couple of minutes the changing of the texture
- Turn off the fire as soon as you feel it like a thick cause it will keep on getting stiffer – the point is like the creme pattissiere
- Cover it with membrane and let it cool down
- You can use it in glasses like in the foto but also in pies!
