Yorkshire Pudding

The Yorkshire pudding is being celebrated on the first Sunday of February! Get yourselves prepared!

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 80ml milk
  • 2 teaspoon sugar
  • 4 Pinches of salt
  • 40gr flour
  • 8 tablespoons vegetable oil

Steps

  • Beat the eggs in a bowl
  • Add the milk in the eggs and mix
  • Add the flour together with the sugar and the salt
  • It is better if you let the batter rest a bit or you let it in the fridge overnight
  • When you are ready to bake them, remove them from the fridge (in case you let them there overnight) half an our before baking them
  • Add in a muffin form baking pan in each muffin slot a tablespoon vegetable oil and place the baking pan in the oven
  • Preheat the oven (with the baking pan inside – we need the oil to be warm) in 190 degrees Celsius
  • When the oven is preheated, take out the muffin form and divide the batter in the 8 slots
  • Bake at 190 degrees Celsious till golden on top – around 20 minutes
