
Ingredients
- 100ml olive oil
- 60gr sugar
- 2 tablespoons orange juice
- 1/3 teaspoon baking soda
- zest of 1/4 orange
- 1 tablespoon orange pulp (so after making a juice for you, keep the pulp!!!)
- 30ml milk
- 210gr all purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
Steps
- Mix the olive oil with the sugar till it gets whitish
- Mix the orange juice with the soda well and add it to the olive oil
- Add in your mi the zest and the pulp of the orange
- Warm the milk a tiny bit and add it to your mix. It shouldn´t be hot.
- Add the flour together with the baking powder
- You should have an oil dough but that is easy to handle and roll out
- The typical shapes are the ones you see in the fotos but you an totally do the shapes you wish
- I roll out strings of 20m long and approximately less than a cm thick and when I have all of them, I shape them
- Bake in a preheated oven in 180 degrees until the get golden on top (for approximately 20 minutes)
