Filled orange cake – upside down orange cake

When you turn it upside down, you will have on top the oranges that you placed first in your baking pan

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 8gr vanilla sugar
  • 72gr sugar
  • 55gr sunflower oil
  • 4 tbs milk
  • 145 flour
  • 12gr baking powder
  • pinch of salt
  • zest from half orange + this orange that we will use it all
  • 1 tablespoon sugar

Filling

  • 150gr orange pulp
  • 15gr sugar
  • 30gr raisins
  • 80 quarc
  • 1 tablespoon rum

Steps

  • Preheat the oven in 175 degrees Celsius
  • Beat the eggs and add the sugar and the vanilla sugar and mix
  • Add the oil and the milk and mix
  • Shift the flour, baking powder and salt and mix
  • Add the zest and leave aside
  • Prepare the filling mixing all the ingredients together
  • Slice the orange
  • Use paper and butter the lower part
  • Sprinkle the sugar on the bottom of the baking pan and then place the orange slices
  • Add a bit less than half the quantity of your dough till it fills all the surface
  • Add only in the middle (like in the foto) the filling
  • Add the rest of the dough taking care that you cover the filling
  • Place in the lowest part of the over and bake like the following:

175 Celsius up and down for 10 minutes,

180 air for 10 minutes,

150 Celsius air for 15 minutes,

stop the oven and let the cake for 5 minutes inside
