Pasta with broccoli and peppers

Ingredients

  • 1,5 onion in slices
  • 1/2 red pepper in slices (you can use whatever color and you can use also only 1 pepper and not 2 different)
  • 1/2 yellow pepper in slices
  • white wine 50 ml
  • water
  • sour cream
  • 3 tablespoon of milk kefir (you can use buttermilk or just milk)
  • 1,5 cup of broccoli
  • pasta for 2 people

Steps

  • Add oil in a frying pan and when it is warmed up add the onion and the peppers and have it in medium temperature
  • Add salt
  • When the pan is dry, add the wine
  • When the pan is again dry, start adding water – only a bit every time, until the onion and the peppers are cooked
  • If you have leftover creme fraiche from the japanese cheesecake, now is the moment to add it together with the sour cream. If you have no remainings, this is still ok.
  • Add the milk kefir or milk
  • When the sauce is ready, remove from the fire
  • Prepare the pasta and in the last 3 minutes add also the broccoli
  • Add the pasta in the sauce and serve warm

TIP: This dish would be also very good if it would be a bit spicy. You can add a red chili pepper in the beginning of the preparation with the onions and the peppers or you can add Tabasco or jalapeno sauce when the pasta is already served
